Mary M. RogersMontrose, Pa.Mary M. Rogers, 94, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at her residence in Montrose, Pa. Born in Binghamton, N.Y. on September 19, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Riegel) O'Brien. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Olin W. Rogers; a son, Dr. Thomas O. Rogers; and a sister, Catherine E. Taylor. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, G. Joseph and Anne M. Rogers, Jeffersonville, Vt.; a granddaughter and husband, Margaret E. (Rogers) and Robert Czarnezki, Palmer, Alaska; a grandson and his wife, George J. and Rayeann Rogers, and great-grandson, George J. Rogers III, Johnson, Vt.; a sister, A. Eleanor Walsh, Johnson City, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Mary attended Montrose High School and Mansfield Teachers College, then taught at the Ward School in Brackney, Pa. She was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Church and 60-year member of its Altar and Rosary Society.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Holy Name of Mary Church, with Rev. Gerard F. Safko officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. The family requests that there be no flowers; donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made through the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, Pa.
