LEBANON OWENS, MARY M. 80, of Indianapolis, IN, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005. She was a full-time nanny and housekeeper for Dr. Eli George and family for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Alysious Washington, and her parents, Alysious and Lula Belle Lancaster. She is survived by her husband, Roosevelt Owens; daughters, Cynthia Cowherd, Gloria Washington and Mildred Washington-Turner (Johnny); a daughter-in-law, Emma Washington; brother, William Lancaster (Julia Ann); sister, Lula Lancaster; stepsons, Eddie, Mitchell and Antonio Owens, Roosevelt Owens Jr. and Mark Owens Sr.; and stepdaughters, Peggie and Wanda Owens. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at St. Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon, KY. Arrangements by Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Indianapolis.
