TROY Mary M. McKeon of Troy died on July 21, 2004 at her residence after a long illness. She was wife of the late George D. Chops McKeon and daughter of the late James and Anna Kane Dundon. Born in Troy, Mary was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and had been employed at Behr Manning (Norton Co.) before becoming a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Also a former member of St. Paul's Mother's Club, St. Mary's Auxiliary and Troy Elks. Survivors include her children, Barbara Hoover of East Amherst, N.Y., Jack M. McKeon of Loudonville, Daniel V. McKeon of Troy and Diane Mackey of North Greenbush; mother-in-law of David Hoover, Phyllis Silver and David Mackey; sister of Loretta Witbeck of Troy, James Dundon of Delmar and Ann Lukovits of Hoags Corners; grandmother of Eric and Jeff Hoover, Rachael and David McKeon and Kayla, Nicole and Samantha Mackey. Also survived by her devoted caregiver, Eugene R. Waugh of Troy. The funeral service will be held from the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy, on Monday at 8:45 a.m. and at St. Paul the Apostle Church at 9:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William A. Gorman, pastor. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
