FRAPPIER-ROGERS, Mary-Lyn It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sweet Mary-Lyn. She passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2002, in Wilmington, North Carolina after a very courageous battle with breast cancer. Mary-Lyn died with dignity and with her family by her side. Mary-Lyn worked as a registered nurse for many years at St. Vincent Hospital in Ottawa before being recruited to New Hanover Regional Medical Centre, North Carolina in 1989. Left to mourn her loss are her devoted husband Michael, her daughter Sarah, her parents Lorna Frappier and Gerald Frappier (Beverlie), her sisters Geraldine Long (Ivan), Kristine Lambert (Pat) and her brothers William Frappier (Deborah) and Allen Frappier (Tracy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in Wilmington, North Carolina on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 where Mary-Lyn was laid to rest. A Memorial Service will be held in Kemptville, Ontario, Sunday, September 8 at 11 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 100 Reuben St. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation - Breast Cancer Research would be appreciated.
