INMAN, SC -- Mary Lula Harris Hicks, 99, of 200 Fortress Dr. Inman, passed away at 11 :50 PM, Sunday, March 12th, at Rosecrest.Born in Polk County, NC on Tuesday, November 6, 1906, she was the last surviving child of the late Sabinas and Mary (Shields) Harris.She was a homemaker and the widow of Romeo Hicks.She was a member of Inman United Methodist Church for over 90 years..She is survived by one daughter, Mary E. Hicks, of Rosecrest; and a number of nieces and nephews.; She was preceded in death by four sisters, Onie Staggs, Arleigh Thompson, Hettie Waters, Bernice Scism and three brothers, Lester, Marvin and Herman Harris.Graveside funeral services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 15th, with Rev.
