Mary Louise Carpenter BLOUNTSTOWN - Mary Louise Carpenter, 84, who retired after 20 years as owner of Carpenter Steak House, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, in Panama City. The service will be at 10 a.m. CST today at Gateway Baptist Church in Blountstown, with burial at Carpenter Cemetery in Grand Ridge. Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown (850-674-5449) is handling arrangements.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gateway Baptist Church, 17667 N.E. Main St., Blountstown, FL 32424. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Bronson and had lived in Blountstown since 1962. She is survived by three sons, Clarence Carpenter (and wife Cynthia) of Washington, D.C., Bill Carpenter (and former wife, Vivian) of Albany, Ga., and Ray Carpenter of Crystal River; two daughters, Eva Hayes (and husband Burke) of Blountstown and Betty Ann Minor (and husband Jim) of Tampa; a brother, Mack Smith of Bronson; six grandchildren, Brooks, Marianne, Debbie, Bill, Crystal and Becky; and four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Kathlin, Austin and Elizabeth.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Carpenter and a grandson, Joshua Lee Carpenter.
