Mary Lou Reid Rogers, 80, of 799 Bethel Church Road, widow of Oscar D. "Peanut" Rogers, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at Fountain Inn Nursing Home. Born in Westminster, daughter of the late J.K. and Lillie Mae Lindsey Reid, she was a homemaker, was formerly employed with Torrington Co., and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Jimmie R. Rogers, of the home, and David Joe, and wife, Carolyn H. Rogers, of Ware Shoals; one sister, Margaret R. Waldrop, of Laurens; three grandchildren, James D. Rogers, of the home, Caleb J. Rogers, of Ware Shoals, and Angela R. McCort, of Gray Court; and one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn H. McCort, of Gray Court. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer R. Hammonds. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Revs. Tommy Lowe and Jack Reid. The family will be at the residence; and, will receive friends at Kennedy Mortuary, from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 324 N.
