She was married to Willard Deming in 1944, they made their home in the Deanburg Community of Chester County. She would later marry Leo Miller and move back to Decatur County.Mrs. Miller passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County Hospital.Mrs. Miller is survived by children, Carolyn Deming Goff (Orban) of Henderson, Tennessee, Woodie Deming (Pam) of Jackson, Tennessee, Sylvia Deming Heard (Larry) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Ron Deming (Sandi) of McKenzie, Tennessee; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Imogene Hearn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Gertrude Oilver, Ola Mae Bawcum and Wille Cross.Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors Johnson Chapel, with burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery at Jeanette, Tennessee.
