She is survived by her husband of 38 years, C. Harper Carter, of Crawfordville.She was an Administrative Assistant with the State Department of Agriculture. She was a lifelong resident of Crawfordville, FL. She was a Christian of the Pentecostal Faith. She graduated from Crawfordville School; she was Valedictorian and never missed a day of school. She loved to travel and loved spending her time with family, and was an avid reader. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Crawfordville United Methodist Church.Services will be Monday, May 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Crawfordville United Methodist Church in Crawfordville, FL, with burial to follow at Arran Cemetery.Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements. Gaby (Kerry), all of Crawfordville; stepson, Charlie Carter (Schlenia) of Crawfordville and stepdaughter, Hope Salas (Bookie) of TX; grandchildren: Kimberly Johnson; Michael Johnson; Millie Bruce (Richie); Wiley Gaby; Jessica Johnson; Jenni Johnson (Larry); Crissy Wood (Marshall); Maggie Gaby; Steven Carter (Josi); Kevin Gaby; Kane Gaby; Hailey Salas and Tyler Salas; and eleven great- grandchildren She is predeceased by her father, Riley A. Harvey, who died in 1957 (and never a day passed that she did not think of him); and her mother, Clara C. Harvey; brother; Homer Harvey and sister; Virginia White.
