STIRLING, Mary Lorraine Oct. 11, 1923 - Jan. 28, 2007 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Stirling (nee Mitchell), beloved wife and best friend of Robert Stirling for over 60 years. Momma will be dearly missed by Jim and Pauline, David and Kathy, Laurel and Carmine (Cesari) and by grandchildren Ian, Karen, Mark, Patti, Robbie, Kevin, Christopher, Tommy and David and three great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Evan and Grace. Following a courageous battle with cancer, Lorraine passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Lorraine was devoted to her family and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. To celebrate her life, family and friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Monday, January 29, 2007 between 7 & 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11-noon. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society or to the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, whose 3rd floor staff gave excellent and compassionate care. God bless.
