ObituaryMARY LIPOSKI JORDANCANDOR - Mary Liposki Jordan, 92, formerly of Honey Pot Rd., Candor, NY, died at the Tioga Nursing Facility, Friday, September 30, 2005. Mary was born in Thurber, Texas, on February 18, 1913 to Walter and Jozefa Kusmierski Liposki. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Albert Jordan; and her daughter-in-law, Betty Jordan. Mary had been a baker at the Candor Central School Cafeteria for 21 years. She was a member of the Candor Central School Class of 1932.Mary is survived by her son, Lewis Jordan of Candor; and her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Friends may call Monday evening, October 3, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at the Candor Funeral Parlour, Inc., 137 Main St., Candor, New York. A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005, with Rev. Philip Jordan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Candor Ambulance Squad, Box 141, Candor, New York 13743, or to the Fairfield Methodist Church.
