Davis, Mary Lillycrop "Betty"Nov. 17, 1927 - Dec. 11, 2012Mary "Betty" Lillycrop Davis passed away on Dec. 11, 2012. She was born in Charlotte, N. C. on Nov.17, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Rev. William A. and Mary Washburn Lillycrop. Rev. Lillycrop was Rector of The Church of the Redeemer, Sarasota in the 1930's. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Davis, four children, Mary Hunt, Kathryn Davis, Paul Davis and Scot Davis. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She graduated from SHS in the class of 1944. She was a graduate of Florida State University and taught school at several grade levels. A memorial service at the Church of the Redeemer will be held on Friday Feb. 22 at 1:00 PM.
