Funeral services for Mary Kathryn Jones, 75, of Water Springs Circle, Jacksonville, Fla., who passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the First A M E Church, 91 Old Kings Rd North, Palm Coast, Fla. Burial will follow the services at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, Fla. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd South, Flagler Beach, Fla. Mary was born on January 12, 1932 to the late James and Roberta (Robinson) McGlohon. She worked as a Bank Manager in Maryland from which she retired. She and her husband moved to Palm Coast, Fla. in 1995, coming from Ft. Washington, Maryland. Mary was a member of the First A M E Church in Palm Coast, and she enjoyed shopping, cooking, traveling, collecting music boxes, and watching Law & Order and American Idol on television. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William Jones, of Jacksonville, Fla. Additional survivors include her daughter, Vera Jones Soleyn, of Bloomington, Ind.; her son, James D. Jones, of Palm Coast, Fla.; her sister, Delcie, Gueringer, of Los Angeles, Calif.; her brother, James H. McGlone, of Somerset, N.J.; her sisTer, Irene Sharpe, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her brother, Bradford H. McGlone, of Palm Coast, Fla.; her sister, Wilcie Majette, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her brother, Bruce McGlone, of Columbia, S.C.; her sister-in-law, Odell Robinson, of Ahoskie, N.C.; her four grandchildren, Andrew Soleyn, Ronald Carroll. Shineeta Carroll, and Anthony Jones; and one great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Mary to the First AM E Church, 91 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast, FL 32137 or to the Lupus Foundation of America, 3637 4th St. North, Suite 390, St. Petersburg, FL 33204.
