DAVIS, MARY KATHLEEN TROVER, 96, of Louisville, died April 19, 2009 at Twinbrook Nursing Home. She was born June 18, 1912, in St. Charles, KY, and attended Earlington Kentucky High School, Transylvania College in Lexington, and Lexington Theological Seminary. She was the wife and partner in ministry of Rev. Harry M. Davis at Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) in various communities. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barton and Ruth Trover; husband, Rev. Harry M. Davis; brothers, Dr. Loman C. Trover and Dr. Faull S. Trover; and daughter, Nancy Trover Davis VanderBurg. Surviving her is her daughter, Jane Davis Lollis; grandchildren, Sarah Lollis Hedlund (Eric), Carol Lollis (Sam Taylor), Kirsten VanderBurg Hall (David), Barton VanderBurg (Gwen); and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. May 2, 2009, at the Earlington Christian Church. Burial will be in Earlington Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lexington Theological Seminary to the Harry and Kathleen Davis Memorial Fund or Transylvania University to Davis Memorial Fund.
