WILSON Mary Josefa Thorstensen Wilson went to be with our Lord on Saturday, 7 January 2006 being 101 years of age, born in Porsgrunn, Norway November 4, 1904, the daughter of Osten and Ann Thorstensen, and had resided in Jacksonville since 1926. She was a long time member of the Murray Hill Baptist Church, and Sons of Norway Gateway Lodge. Aunt Mary was the widow of Horrie Lee Wilson who died in 1994. She is survived by her loving son, Daniel Wilson or Orange Park, niece, Grace C. Mason, husband, Thomas, David Carter, wife Peggy, Philip Carter, wife Martie, nephew The Rev. George W. Prom and sons Marcus and Stephen Prom, wife Charlotte, and her wonderful companion and caregiver, Barbara Siemer of Jacksonville. Mary is also survived by Lise T. Riis, Sven and Mariane Thorstensen, Gerd and Neri Haugen, Leif and Eli Thorstensen, Rein and Althild Thorstensen, all of Norway. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in the Murray Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Axtell officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Jay Stuckey.
