Mary Jean Orr, 90, Sarasota, died Nov. 25, 2003. She was born Oct. 2, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Sarasota in 1958. She graduated from Euclid Business College, in Brooklyn. She was supervisor of elections in Sarasota County from 1964 to 1977 and a member of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections. She was a member of the Doctor's Hospital Auxiliary for 10 years and a member and president in 1967 of the American Business Women's Association. Survivors include daughters Gloria Jean of Alexandria, Va., and Marilyn J. Weigel of Sarasota; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Toale Brothers Colonial Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Entombment will follow in Palms Memorial Park.
