September 18, 2003 Mary Jane Smith 84, of Camden, NY formerly of Truxton, died Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the Oneida HealthCare Center. She was a resident of the Val Haven Adult Home and had lived in Camden since 1976. She was born June 30, 1919in Truxton, NY a daughter of Ralph and Cora Skinner Smith and was a 1937 graduate of Truxton High School and was also a graduate of the NYS School of Agriculture at Morrisville. She was predeceased by a sister, Frances C. Smith, and four brothers; Linus H.,George F., Howard S., and Ralph D. Smith, Jr. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. Camden, NY. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Graveside services will he held 2:30 p.m. Monday at Truxton Cemetery, Truxton, NY. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Val Haven HFA Residents Activity Fund, 128 Main Street, Camden, NY 13316.
