Mary Jane Smith a resident of Greenwich died January 29, 2009. She was 75 and was born August 4, 1933 in County Cavan, Ireland to the late William and Emelia Scott Smith. She was raised and educated in Ireland. She immigrated to the United States in 1953 and settled in Westchester County. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester and a member of the Port Chester Irish American Society. She is survived by her sisters Emelia Mitchell of Rye Brook, NY and Sarah Bell of County Cavan, Ireland and many nephews and nieces. A Memorial Mass will be held 10AM Monday February 2, 2009 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
