Mary Jane Mack, 82, Bradenton, died March 12, 2002. She was born Aug. 15, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio, and came to Manatee County more than 20 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a charter member and treasurer of the Caprice Unit of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and was secretary/treasurer of the Emma Woodhill Cancer Clinic for 10 years. She was past president of the March of Dimes of Franklin County, Ohio, and co-founded and was the first president of Sustaining Board I of Creative Living, independent living quarters for young paraplegics. Survivors include a grandson, Glen; and five great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
