SMITH, MARY JANE KICKER, age 76, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away June 19, 2006. She was a retired Optician, and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. "She was a Good Mother, Wife and Grandmother and Best Loving Companion." She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katie. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Eugene Smith; sons, Mike (Ginny), Mark (Pam), and Danny (Sherri); grandchildren, Bret (Stephanie), Kassie, Eli, Daniel, Stephanie, Chance, Beau Reyer; great-grandchildren, RJ and Emma; brothers, Tommy (Sandy) Kicker, Bill (Diane) Kicker and Michael (Alice) Kicker. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Reverend Mike Jackson officiating, burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
