CLEARY Mary Jane Cleary, beloved daughter of the late Edward L. and Mary Keller Cleary, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 20, 2008, following a determined and gracious battle with cancer. Mary Jane is survived by her siblings, Robert Cleary of Eastham, Mass., Louise Cleary Lintz of Milton, Mass and Naples, Fla., Ellen Ward of Sydney, Australia, Edward Cleary of New Haven and Richard Cleary of Pasadena, Calif.; along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was born May 18, 1948 in Bridgeport and attended St. Augustine School, Central High School, Marymount College, Arlington, Va. and Butler Business School, followed by a year at the Sorbonne in 1968. In her business career, Mary Jane worked at the Pitney Bowes Corporation, the Stolt-Neilsen Shipping Company, the Perkin-Elmer Corporation and various other legal and professional firms in Connecticut and Naples, where she relocated in 1998. She most recently was employed at Arbor Trace in Naples. Mary Jane possessed an inner beauty that was obvious to all who knew her. Her grace and dignity were evident in her personal appearance, her creative art work, her home decorating and gardening and in her everyday lifestyle which she shared with family and friends. We will miss Mary Jane's warmth, love and genuineness. She spoke her mind, was true to herself and was a good friend to many. She has gone too soon and will be truly missed.
