->Mary Jane Anderson88, Susquehanna, passed away peacefully at her home on December 20, 2012. She was born March 24, 1924 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of the late Harry E. and Mary J. Utter Phillips. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry E. Phillips, sister-in-law, Elsbert Phillips, and brother-in-law, Charles E. Zuber. She is currently a member of the Watson Hill Bible Church, and formerly an active member of the First Baptist Church, New Milford, PA for over 40 years, where she sang in the choir, directed the choir, taught Sunday School, was Sunday School secretary, and was involved in many other church activities. She was also the pianist for the Herrick Baptist Church, Herrick Center, and Starrucca Baptist Church, Starrucca, PA for several years, traveling between both churches every Sunday. In addition to being a stay at home mother, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, and raising four children. She especially enjoyed having the "gang" there to celebrate a birthday or other occasion. Surviving is her loving husband, Robert E. Anderson, Sr.; four children, Curtis and Sue Anderson, Amarillo, TX, Marjorie and Bruce Terry Jayne, New Milford, PA, Robert E. Jr. and Carrie Anderson, Stafford, NH, and Marilyn and Charles "Ned" Patterson, Dover, NJ; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Esther Zuber, Montrose, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2012 from the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Spring interment will be made in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday.
