BROWN, MARY ISOBEL - Miss Mary I. Brown (M.I.) 93 of Saint John, N.B. passed away at Carleton - Kirk Lodge on March 29, 2006. Born in Pictou, N.S. the daughter of the late James W. and Myrtle I. (Fisher) Brown-Corscadden. Miss Brown graduated from the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing. She had a lengthy career in nursing and at the time of her retirement was Associate Director of Nursing, Saint John General Hospital. Miss Brown was the recipient of the Canada Silver Jubilee Medal and accompanying citation. She was a member of Glenview United Church and Glenview Quilters. Mary is survived by her half brother, Edgar F. Corscadden (Faye) of Saint John N.B., as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home (Fallsview), 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 1st, 2006 at 11 am from Glenview United Church. Visiting at Fallsview on Thursday March 30, 2006 from 7 - 9 pm and Friday March 31, 2006 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Interment will take place in Maces Bay Cemetery at a later date.
