Mary Isabel Wilson, 84, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004. Born Feb. 11, 1920 in Clinton, Ind., she moved to Hou ston three years ago from Decatur. She was a member of St. Luke’s Meth odist Church where she was active in her Sunday school class and church circles. She taught in public schools in Texas, Illinois and Alabama for 40 years and was a member of P.E.O. both in Decatur and in Houston. She leaves behind two daughters, Susan Martin and husband William C. of Orlando, Fla., and Marcie Garmon and husband Woodrow E. of Houston; one sister, Martha Stanley of Houston, formerly of Kingsville, Texas; one brother, Warren Dowdy of Canyon Lake, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 6½ greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2004, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home with Chaplin Tom Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
