Mary Kay Hughes, 68, of Chattanooga, was born Jan. 23, 1946 in Oneida.She went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 25, 2014 at Kindred Hospital surrounded by the Love of her family. She was a member of New Charity Church in Robbins. She retired from Kmart after 20 years of employment.Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Ernie Terry Hughes; and sister, Patsy Foster.She is survived by her daughters, Angie Scasbrick and husband Glenn and Barbara Miller; son, Roger Miller all of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Brandon and Alyssa Scasbrick, Austin Stratton and Paige Miller; twin brother, Jimmy Hughes and wife Marilyn of Tunnel Hill, GA; sister, Virginia Cottrell of Sunbright; and a host of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning, Aug. 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Brickyard Cemetery, Robbins.Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright is in charge of arrangements.
