Mary Green Hudson, 80, formerly of 32 Possum Hollow, widow of Fred Esaw Hudson, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Ellenburg Nursing Center.Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Luther G. and Hazel Cox Green. She retired from Hudson Construction Co. in Greer and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.Surviving are sons, Theron Roger Byers, of Honea Path, and Luther Thomas Byers, of Greenville; brother, Cecil Green, of Piedmont; grandchildren, Lory Bell, Theron Roger "Rondy" Byers II, Cindy Pritchard and Tony Byers; and seven great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Wood Memorial Park in Greer with Pastor Roy Thacker and Rev. Martin Foster officiating.The family will be at 30 Possum Hollow, Honea Path, and will receive friends at the grave following services.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ware Place Church of God, 288 Old Hundred Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.Gray Mortuary, Pelzer in charge of services.
