ObituaryMary 'Clarkie' Higgins, 77, of Ft. Myers died peacefully August 1, 2004. Mary moved to Florida from Connecticut in 1966. She started her nursing career in the middle 1940's at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, then moved to Ft. Myers in 1966, pursuing her career at Lee Memorial Hospital as Administrative Supervisor. She retired after approximately 20 years of service. During her retirement she traveled throughout the United States, enjoying nature at its best. Mary is survived by a daughter, Regina Andrews and two grandsons, Derek Andrews and Sgt. Bradley Andrews. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
