Mrs. Mary Helena Arsenault, Alberton Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, June 28, 2009, with her family by her side of Mary Helena Arsenault of the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home, age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Sylvester J. Arsenault. Born on December 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Helen (nee Fennessey) Richard. Cherished mother to Elmer and his wife Jackie of Tignish, Larry and his wife Jacinta of Elmsdale and Ivan of Tignish. Lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren: Nicole of Calgary; Michael (Katie) of Moncton; Jennifer of Fredericton; Mark of Tignish; Ronald of Ottawa; Joey of Toronto; and Anthony of Elmsdale. Dear sister to Louise (Alyre) LeClair of Tignish; Doris (Eddie) Cuffey of Montreal; Ida (late James) Handrahan of Tignish and sister-in-law to Gerard Gaudet of Tignish. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Raymond (late Rita), Everett (late Sis, Catherine), Stella Gaudet, Irene (late Hector) Gallant. She was also predeceased by brothers- and sisters-in-law Fidele (late Yvonne) Arsenault, John (late Mary) Arsenault, Josephine (late Aubin) Bernard, Henrietta (late Alphy) Perry, Genevieve Arsenault and Lucy Arsenault. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Funeral on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2009, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
