FERRARI, Mary Helen Jane (nee Robinson) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Mary, on October 14, 2008 in her 85th year after a lengthy illness at the Southampton Care Centre. Predeceased by her beloved husband Nino (1978), loving mother of Susan and her husband Tom Rutherford and cherished Nan to Chelsea, all of Southampton. Born October 17, 1923, and raised in Hamilton. Mary spent the last 7 years in Sarnia returning to Southampton only two weeks ago. Mary summered in Southampton since 1957 in a cottage built by her husband Nino. She loved the beach and has come to the end of life's journey in the place she loved the best. She will be missed by her many friends. Special thanks to the staff at the Southampton Care Centre in Southampton and Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia who cared for Mary so graciously and lovingly. Visiting with the family will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
