Mary Helen Bryant of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Frostproof, died of heart failure August 15, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville. She was 69. Born in Alabama on August 8, 1937, she lived in Frostproof for many years, where she still has family and friends. Survivors include three sons, Willie Steve Sutley and Frankie Joe Sutley, both of Frostproof, Florida; Lewis Jerome Sutley, Maryville, TN; one daughter, Mary Laverne Hendrick, Maryville, TN; two sisters, Nonie Adell Wilcox, Frostproof; Maybell Mannis, Troy, AL; one brother, George Edward Holland of Owesso, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren Funeral services were held August 19, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church in Brantley, Alabama with Rev. Billy Kilcrease officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Elba, Alabama, with Hayes Funeral Home of Elba directing. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Scotty Sutley, Jamie Collins, Shane Hendrick, Josh Hendrick, Willie Sutley and Christopher Walden. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and expressions of love.
