Retired County Clerk LOUISVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Hattaway Lamb, age 69 of Highway 171 North died Friday April 9, 2010 in the Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday in the Louisville United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hibberts officiating. Burial will following in Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Hattaway, Mike Hattaway, Johnny Davis, Mark Davis, Allen Davis, Al Kelly, Donnie Cobb, Barry Cobb, Scotty Hattaway, & Cleve Lamb. A native of Louisville, Mrs. Lamb was a daughter of the late John T. Hattaway, Sr. & Maggie Lou Mullins Hattaway. For more than 25 years she worked for the Jefferson County Commission office as county clerk & was a member of Louisville United Methodist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; 4 siblings; Margaret Walden, Edith Kelly, Barbara Jean Pennington & Wayne Hattaway & is survived by, husband; of 48 years William (Billy) Lamb of Louisville, son: William Joel Lamb and his wife Anne of Louisville; daughters: Lisa Johnson and her husband Cliff of Stapleton, Lynn Miller and her husband Roan of Sandersville; 8 grandchildren, Chip, Will & Alison Johnson, William & Ansley Lamb, Maggie, Mary Frances, & Matt Miller, brothers; John T. Hattaway, Jr. & Jerry Hattaway, both of Louisville, sisters; Caroline Rowell of Norcross, & Ethel Davis of Louisville; several nieces, nephews & cousins. The family will be at the residence 2965 Highway 171 North in Louisville and will receive friend 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday April 9, 2010 at the funeral home.
