Funeral services will be held February 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM from Mobile Heigts Baptist Church with Rev. Filbert Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery, Mathews, AL. Mrs. Harris will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Addie Thomas; husband, Gloster Harris; brothers, Willie Thomas, Jr., Eugene Thomas, William Thomas, Sr.; sisters, Willie Mae McDuffie, Mattie P. Nobles, Ethel Barnett, Georgia Townsend and Cora Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memories seven children, George (Doris) Harris, Gloster Harris, Jr., Jackie (Jewel) Harris, Willie James Harris, Danny Roy Harris, Ruby Harris, Johnnie Pearl Harris; three brothers, James (Anna) Thomas, Jessie Thomas and Julius Thomas; aunt, Annie Townsend; twenty three grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
