Mary H. Moroney, 86, of Edison, N.J., formerly of Carteret, N.J., died on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Franklin Care Center. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church, located at 45 Henderson Rd. in Kendall Park, N.J. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, N.J. The visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave. in Carteret, N.J. Mary was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Carteret, N.J., for 45 years before moving to Edison, N.J. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Carteret, N.J. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Moroney, and her parents, Joseph and Viola Senk. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lenart, and her husband, Robert; her sons, Thomas J. Moroney and his wife, Beth, and Paul R. Moroney; her granddaughter, Shauna Evans, and her sister, Josephine.
