Mary H. Long, 102, Bradenton, died Jan. 28, 2003. She was born April 17, 1900, in Stoneville, N.C., and came to Manatee County in 1979 from Silver Spring, Md. She retired as an administrative assistant for the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked from 1920 to 1965. She was active with the Southeastern Guide Dogs and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bradenton. Survivors include grandsons Daniel of Portland, Ore., Kenneth of West Linn, Ore., and Michael of Chicago; seven great-grandsons; and a great-granddaughter. No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Yakima, Wash. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel, is in charge.
