ENG, Mary Gum Choy May 29, 1922 - November 26, 2013 Mary passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband, Eddy; her sons, Willie and Tony; her brother, Herbie and her brother-in-law, Wally. She is survived by her children, Victor (Jane), Louise (Dick); daughters-in-law, Jane and Ann; her siblings, George (Jean), Joan, Sophie (Bob); her sister-in-law, Sue-ling; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends. Family was very important to Mary who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also passionate about food, marrying her own chef and together running the Beacon Cafe in Sidney. The family would like to extend special thanks to the caregivers and doctors at Glengarry and Selkirk Place. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at McCall's Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver with reception in McCall's Family Centre. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
