Retired Office Manager AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Mary Gray Flanagan, wife of the late William Joseph Flanagan of Augusta. Other family members include her sons and daughters-in-law: William Joseph III and Gail Kelly Flanagan of Augusta, Bruce Allen and Emily Jeanene Flanagan of Augusta; brothers: the late Peter Gray, Hugh Gray of Bathgate Scotland, and Albert Gray of Aurora, Canada; grandchildren: Lauren Kelly Flanagan, Kelcey Elizabeth Flanagan, Megan Elizabeth Flanagan and Matthew Allen Flanagan. Mrs. Flanagan was a native of Glasgow, Scotland, and had lived in Augusta for the last 41 years. She retired as office manager of H&R Block in Augusta where she had many responsibilities, one of which was as an instructor. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She was a member and past treasurer of Caledonian Society and a member of the Scottish American Heritage Society. The family motto i s CERTAVI ET VICI. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert Hunt officiating. . Pallbearers are William Flanagan, Allan Flanagan, John Joyner, Charles Davis, Dean Morris and Charles Stephen Ridges.
