HARGROVE, MARY GRACE, of Loch Lomond Villa, formerly of Lorneville, N.B., passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 after a period of failing health. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Long and Mary Carr both of Saint John; six grandchildren Gregory (Kim) Long of Gananoque, Ontario, Wayne (Denise) Long, Heather Long-Smith, David (Wendy) Carr, Melissa (Steve) Anderson all of Saint John, and Jennifer (Stephen) Brown of Nackawic; ten great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kiera, Khristian, Konnor, Cody, Chelsey, Erin, Kate, Robyn and William, several nieces and nephews. Born in Lorneville in 1916, she was predeceased by her husband, W. Ronald, her parents, Capt. Andrew and Harriet Wilson, nine brothers and sisters, and two sons-in-law, Malcolm Long and Mitchell Carr. Grace was a member of Lorneville United Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a life member of Lorneville UCW. She was a member of Spruce Lake Women's Institute. Grace's family was a source of pride to her. She loved to cook, garden and attend church. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Lorneville United Church Hall, with a reception to follow. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private interment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Lorneville United Church, Hospice Saint John , St. Luke's Outreach program or a charity of donor's choice.
