FREEMAN, MARY GRACE TROY - Mary Grace Jarvis Freeman, 86 of High Point died Monday, July 25, 2011 at her daughter's residence with her family by her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Jarvis and Mae Casey Jarvis and wife of the late John W. Freeman who died in 1992. A lifelong Troy resident, Mrs. Freeman was a United States Army veteran serving during World War II. Mary was the Activities Director for the former Leisure Arms Health Facility in Troy for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Survivors include her six children, Ann Apicella (Paul), Janice DeFazio (Rocco) all of Troy John Freeman of Boulder City, NV, Kathleen Pucci of Newburyport, MA, Patricia Freeman (Larry Hicks) Clifton Park, Joseph Freeman ( Michele) of Henderson, NV, Eleven grandchildren Kim O'Neill (Brian), Kristen Montesano (Michael), Alaina DeFazio (Jared Bennett), Michael DeFazio (Lynsey Ciraulo), Matthew DeFazio (Shana Brady) Elizabeth DeFazio, John DeFazio, Nicholas Pucci, Nathan Kirby, Neil Kirby, Katie Freeman, three great grandsons Andrew and Casey Montesano and Kai Pucci. Mary was predeceased by two brothers Edward and Matthew Jarvis. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the parish of Christ Sun of Justice, R.P.I. Chapel and Cultural Center, 2125 Burdett Avenue, Troy, with Rev. Ed Kacerguis, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Cultural Center prior to the service. Arrangements by the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, Troy.
