GONZALEZ, Mary L. "Cookie," 75, of Valrico, passed away Monday, January 8, 2007, after a long brave battle with congestive heart failure. Mary was born July 31, 1931, in Tampa. On August 6, 2006, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Julian. She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Liana Kehoe (Darryl); son, Harold Gonzalez; grandson, Troy Davis (Jennifer); granddaughter, Kelli Sabourin (Tim); great-grandchildren, Brad, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Matthew; all of whom she loved with all her heart. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved sewing, reading and taking care of others. The family would like to say a heart-felt thank you to LifePath Hospice, Emerald Team, especially Liz, Sharon and Merrie, and LifePath Hospice House ' Pallative Care in Sun City for all of their help, support and loving care she received. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007, also at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609.
