GONZALEZ, Mary Ficarrotta, 96, lifelong Tampa resident, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Alfredo Gonzalez; sisters, Josephine, Lily, and Bella; and brother, Johnny. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Collera, and son-in-law, Joe Collera; granddaughters, Anne-Marie Almousa and Jennifer Hougland; great-grandchild- ren, Firas and Jassim Almousa, and Kaitlin Lily Hougland; and several nieces. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Lavender team of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast for their loving care and support. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, 605 South MacDill Avenue in Tampa, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Colon Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joe Collera, Anne-Marie Almousa, Jennifer Hougland, Firas Almousa, Jassim Almousa, and Vincent Capitano III. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL 33770-3770 or a charity of your choice.
