Mary Alma Freeman, 85, of 14 Freeman Dr., died Saturday, August 27, 2007.Born January 2, 1922, in Taylors, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Alma L. FreemanMs. Freeman was a graduate of Taylors High School and attended Draughons Business School in Greenville.She was retired from Liberty Life after 43 years of employment.She was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church, where she attended Sunday school and was an assistant in the church library.Surviving are her sister, Susan F. Stone; a nephew, Joey Stone, his wife Pam and their son, Christian, all of Taylors, S.C.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Carswell and Dr. Frank Page officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Gathering Space at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylors First Baptist Library, 200 W.
