Mary Frances Avery Williams of Lynn Haven, FL, formerly of Dothan and Ashford, AL peacefully slipped into eternity on January 21, 2014. She was born in Cottonwood, AL on February 14, 1926 to the late Charlie Avery and Bertie Gilmore Avery. Mary was a graduate of Cottonwood High School and was married to Harry Miller Williams of Dothan for 67 years. Mary worked for Pepsi Cola/Better Brands for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her sister, Gladys, and brother-in-law, Herman.She is survived by her daughter, Randi Turpin and husband, Robert, of Lynn Haven, FL; her son, Mike Williams and wife, Sherry, of Weston, FL; grandchildren, Alison Arnold, Eric Arnold and wife Sarah, Michelle and Michael McGahey, Monica and Geoffrey Brown, Maria and Kurt Bissett; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Cale, Ashley, Gabi, Keelan, Geoffrey, Lauren Michelle, Melina, and Mason; and great, great-granddaughter, Victoria.Mary was the true matriarch of the family, giving sacrificially to others all her life. Her love, her wisdom, her strength, and her concern for all will be greatly missed.A graveside service will be held for our precious mother, aunt, and grandmother, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottonwood, AL.
