Mary F. (Gillis) Sullivan, 64, of Brockton, died March 3, 2015, surrounded by family at her home, following a long battle with cancer. Mary was the beloved wife of John D. Sullivan; and loving mother of Katelyn M. Sullivan and her husband Steven A. Raphaelson. Mary was the sister of Clare Roberts and her husband John of Hampton Beach, N.H., Ellen Reesie Catino and her late husband Louis of West Bridgewater and the late Allan Gillis, Urban Gillis and William Gillis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Somerville, daughter of the late William and Florence Gillis. Mary was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Somerville. She was employed by Prudential Insurance as a Human Resource Manager for 30+ years and was most recently employed by TriNet Systems for 10+ years. Mary was an outgoing, social person with an infectious laugh who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, relaxing on the beach and traveling. She was a member of the Samoset Rod and Gun Club of West Bridgewater and Lincoln Club of Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123), Brockton, Sunday 2-6 p.m. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m. for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Massachusetts National Cemetery.
