MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, January 25, 2009, Mrs. Mary F. Henderson, 99, wife of the late Robert Glenn Henderson. Mrs. Henderson was a native of St. George, SC, but lived most of her life in the Augusta area. In fact, she lived in Augusta on Glenn Ave. for 50 years. Mrs. Henderson worked with her husband in the Augusta Houston Ice and Coal, Co., and was a homemaker and member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. Family members include her daughters Glenda Henderson of Charlotte, NC, Mary Henderson Hull and friend Charles P. Heywood of Martinez, GA; son William P. Henderson and wife Martha Stafford Henderson of Newport News, VA; daughter-in-law Linda Morgan Henderson of Grayson, GA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Robert Glenn Henderson, Jr. The family wishes to express a very special thanks to her caregivers Rosella Lee and Gwendolyn Barnes. Graveside services will be held Today, January 28, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Ken D. Wilson officiating.
