Moulton<!--Moulton-->Funeral for Mary Evelyn Pierce, 79, of Moulton will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Pierce, who died Sunday, July 5, 2009, was born Oct. 6, 1929, in Lawrence County to James Albert and Ora Mae Borden. Our mother loved each of her children dearly and enjoyed gardening and had a close affinity with all animals. She was a beautiful, kind and very special person that we will all miss greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Pierce; two children, Donnie and Janice Terry; three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Larry Terry and Roger Terry (Margie); two daughters, Jeanne Grossman (Mike) and Tammy Sappington (Robert); five grandchildren, Jim, Chrissy and John Terry and Tara Rutledge and Nicole Bernstein; five great-grandchildren, Jackson and Dylan Rutledge, Eli Jones and Faith and Evan Bernstein; one brother, Bud Borden (Joan); and four sisters, Opal Horton, Mavis Naylor (Carl), Sybil Etheridge and Ann Murphee.
