DEMOPOLIS Mary Evelyn Mills, age 69, of Demopolis, died May 22, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Moundville United Methodist Church with Rev. Edwin King officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Mills; mother, Evelyn Ladnier; father, Robert Ladnier; and brothers, Steve Ladnier and Tony Ladnier.Survivors include her daughters, Carla Mills Turner and Robin Mills Griffin of Demopolis; son, Rickey Mills (Audrey) of Baker, Fla.; and grandchildren, Chuck Griffin, Mary Frances Griffin, Marc Mills, Madolyn Mills, Hayden Mills, and Emily Turner.Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Alilonu, Dr. Hinton, and Dr. Robards.
