GREENSBORO Mary Esther Borden Coleman, age 98, of Greensboro, died May 4, 2007, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Greensboro Cemetery with the Reverend Alton M. Phillips officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.Her parents, James Pennington and Annie Gray Jack Borden, her husband, Bestor Wynne Coleman, Jr., and one brother, James Jack Borden, preceded her in death.Survivors include her daughter, Ann Coleman Oliver (Howard) of Pleasant Hill, Ala.; two sons, Bestor Wynne Coleman, III (Dianne) of Greensboro and James Pennington Coleman of Houston, Texas; and one grandchild, Mary Ann Oliver of Birmingham, Ala.Mrs. Coleman was born April 8, 1909 in Hale County. She was a homemaker.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
