ROUSSEAU, Mary Emma (August 22, 1931-July 7, 2003) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. Finally reunited with her precious Nelson. She is survived by children Joanne Carr (Windsor), Bill & Val Rousseau (Calgary), David & Becky Rousseau (Golden, B.C.), Sharon & Norm Gorrie (Calgary), John & Lynda Ruddock-Rousseau (Colchester), Denis & Lynn Rousseau (McGregor), Mary Beth & John Vezina (Leamington), Timothy & Rosalind Rousseau (Trenton), Christopher Rousseau & fiance Gisele Pearce. Beloved daughter of the late Frank & Florence Miller. Loving sister of the late Albert & the late Frank Miller. Loving grandmother of 26 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and predeceased by grandson Timothy Mac Gorrie (Aug. 1997). Mary was also blessed with special care and comfort from friends Debbie Robertson, Lynner Saatchi, and "Aunt Anne & Uncle Andy." Mary was a member of the Chumettes in River Canard, and an avid card and bingo player. Friends will be received at the DeMarco Funeral Home (LaSalle Chapel), 2130 Front Road, LaSalle 734-1448 on Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Thursday at 8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to go directly to St. Joseph's Church, River Canard, Friday, July 11, 2003 for visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Joseph's Church Building Restoration Fund or Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
