OXFORD — Graveside service for Mary Elois Maxwell-Turner, 85, of Oxford, will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at Anniston Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Matt Turner and Bill Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner died Saturday at Golden Living in Oxford. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Maxwell Batey of Oxford and Mary Ann Maxwell Rollins of Jacksonville; two step-sons, Tony Turner of Alexandria and Sonny Turner of Tupelo, MS, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband's, Carlie Leroy Maxwell and E.C. Turner; her parents, Martha and George Traywick; sister, Ernestine Wilkes; step-daughter, Sandra Dover; step-son Dennis Turner; two grandsons, Chuck Rollins and Eddie Rollins. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Turner was a native of Fayette County and lived in Bynum and Alexandria for most of her life. She was retired from Anniston Sports Wear.
