Mary Ellen Wilson, 83, Venice, died March 3, 2006. She was born June 12, 1922, in Jacksboro, Tenn., and came to Venice in 1974 from Michigan. She retired from Ford Motor Co. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Ostyn of Venice; sisters Addie Williams of Augusta, Ga., Ann Savage of Coral Springs, Jean Buchanan of Sharpsburg, Ga., and Rosalie York of Clinton, Tenn.; brothers Wilburn and J.L. Allen, both of Jacksboro; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Services will be later in Tennessee. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
